Between mid and late April, the number of new profiles added to the pool dropped sharply by 60%. Only 897 new profiles were added in two weeks, a massive drop from the 2,000-plus that were added a week before. 

But for the thousands of people sitting in that pool, that "slowdown" has a strong reason. The reality on the ground is that the competition is getting tighter and much more expensive.
