  • Age:
    You must be under 49 years of age at the time of applying for the Ontario PNP application.

  • Work Experience:

  • Qualification:

Ontario PNP Process

The Ontario PNP program has made immigrating to Ontario much more accessible and convenient for foreign skilled and experienced candidates. To apply Ontario PNP, you need to follow the below process steps

  1. Check your Eligibility:
    Suppose you want to apply for Ontario PNP. In that case, the first and foremost requirements are to check whether are you meeting predefined criteria’s in terms of Profile, Age, points score, language proficiency requirements etc. if you are sure about now, start further steps.

  2. Create an Express Entry Profile:
    The second step is, you need to create an Express Entry profile in the Express Entry Pool authorized by IRCC, reflecting that you’re interested in migrating to Ontario.

  3. Apply to be nominated by the Ontario government:
    In the third step, you must receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from the province of Ontario through your IRCC online account that you’ve created before. As soon as you receive the NOI from Ontario, you can easily apply for Ontario PNP. An NOI does not guarantee that your application will be approved. You need to prove your claims.

  4. Pay Ontario PNP fee & submit your Documents:
    After you’ve been issued an NOI from the province of Ontario through your online IRCC account, you have a 45-days duration to submit your documents. you are required to pay the Ontario PNP fees, i.e. $1,500 or $2,000 depending upon the selected stream or $3,500 if you have chosen the business stream

    Once you’ve submitted your application successfully without any folly, the Ontario office will assess your application against the Ontario PNP law is two-part.
    1. In the first screening, Ontario will check either your submitted application is complete or not; if your application is incomplete or incorrect, the Ontario office will return your file, and the Ontario PNP fee will not be refundable.
    2. If you passed the first phase, your application needs to go through a quality check & credential verification. If the Ontario PNP officer found any ground to believe that your claims are inaccurate, your application will be refused, and you will be banned to re-apply for the next five years.

      If you assessed positive, you would get Ontario nomination approved; now, you can claim an additional CRS 600 score.
  5. Apply to the CIC for permanent residence:
    You need to apply for permanent residence through the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

The province of Ontario charges the fees to recover the cost of administering the OINP. The Ontario PNP fee is not refundable if your application is unsuccessful or if you decided to withdraw your application.



Ontario PNP High-Demand Occupation List

Ontario doesn’t have any specific Ontario occupation list for the skilled workers to nominate them for the Province. However, if you’re a Technology professional or IT engineers, you will always get Priority in the Ontario Occupation list for nomination.

If you are a skilled worker and your occupation ruminates in the NOC (National Occupation Classification) list at skill type O, A or B, you can apply under the OINP and accomplish your goal of getting the Canada PR.
