BC PNP conducted its  latest draw on 6th February, 2024 and invited 217 applicants.

In the latest BC PNP draw, the province of British Columbia issued 217 invitations. On February 6, 2024, the fifth BC PNP draw of the year took place.  To fill the British Columbia PNP labour market need, the draw was focused on entry-level and semi-skilled candidates, skilled workers, international graduates (including those with EEBC options), and workers in occupations like childcare, construction, healthcare, and veterinary care. The BC PNP draws had scores ranging from 60 to 75 for the targeted draw and from 97 to 122 for the general draw.

The invited candidates have 30 days to complete and submit their nomination forms. British Columbia established the BC PNP economic pathway to attract skilled labour, providing a pathway for those seeking permanent residence in Canada.

What are the eligibility criteria to apply for skilled workers?

The following are the requirements for eligibility in the Skilled Worker Stream:

1. The candidate needs to have a full-time, permanent work offer with no expiration date from a B.C. company (indeterminate).

2. The applicant must meet the requirements for the position for which they have been offered and have a job that falls within NOC (National Occupational Classification) categories 0, 1, 2, or 3.

3. A minimum of two years of full-time experience in NOC categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 (or an equivalent amount of experience).

4. You must fulfil the minimal standards for linguistic proficiency.

5. The wage rates in British Columbia for the occupation should be in line with your offer.

6. Give evidence of your ability to support yourself and any dependents financially.

7. Your employer must accept your application and fulfil specific conditions.
