As per the latest Australia Immigration News, this program has become a major initiative and a positive step towards the economic recovery of the Australian economy which was previously devastated by the coronavirus. Also, the government has invested heavily in the Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP) and moreover, has tripled the entire intake to somewhere around 15,000 in the year 2020-2021.

If you want to apply, you need to gain a deep insight into the entire process, benefits, and eligibility criteria. Keeping these things in mind well in advance will make sure that you don’t face any hassle at a later stage. The GTI Visa is a perfect alternative to the other permanent residency visas (such as skilled independent visa subclass 189 and state-nominated visa subclass 190).

What are the Reasons that make GTI a perfect alternative?

In order to apply for the Global Talent Visa Independent Program, a candidate is not required to:

  • Have a Positive skills assessment
  • Meet the Minimum points requirement
  • Meet the minimum language efficiency
  • Have a nomination from an Australian state or territory

The person who wants to apply under the GTI program can be up to 55 years of age or can be a recent graduate, Master’s, or PhD graduate in one of the four target sectors. So, do you want to apply for the GTI Visa in 2021 and get settled in Australia on a permanent basis? Well, before applying for this visa, certain eligibility requirements need to be met.

What is the Eligibility Criterion to Apply for the Global Talent Visa, Australia?
