Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) is the perfect choice to settle in Canada. Those aspirants’ who are eligible and wish to contribute to this beautiful province’s economy may apply for immigration under different categories. This PNP program works on the Expression of Interest (EOI) model.
PEI PNP includes the following PNP categories/streams:
- PEI – Skilled worker stream / PEI Express entry Stream
- PEI – Entrepreneur Stream
- PEI – But you can claim a maximum of 15 points in Education. Business owners stream

Prince Edward Island PNP (PEI-PNP) Eligibility Requirements
Prince Edwards Island – Express entry stream is the most mainstream of PEI PNP. This stream not only increases your chances of selection, but processing time is also faster.
To be eligible under Prince Edwards Island – Express entry stream, you need to meet the below requirements

You must be the age under 49 years at the time of submitting your application for Prince Edward Island PNP.
Although, Prince Edward Island does not have any specific occupation list, if your occupation falls under skill level 0, A, B, you can apply for Prince Edward Island PNP.
You must have a minimum of two years full-time, paid, continuous work experience in the skill level 0, A, B in the past five years.
You must have a valid Federal Express Entry Profile Number.
It would be best to write IELTS- general training and score a minimum of six bands in each module.
You must obtain foreign qualification recognition (FQR) if your occupation is regulated in Prince Edward Island; please find the regulated profession of Prince Edward Island here.
The highest-ranking candidate from the PEI- EOI pool will be invited to apply for PNP.
Although Job offer letter from Prince Edwards island employer is not a mandatory requirement, priority will be given to applicants living and working in PEI or having a job offer letter from Canada.

How to apply Prince Edwards Island PNP
To apply for Prince Edwards Island PNP you need to follow below steps

To be eligible for the PEI Express Entry Stream, you must register with the express entry pool. To register express entry pool, you need to meet one of the following program requirements
Once you are registered with the express entry pool, you can enroll with PEI – an expression of Interest. Please note Your PEI – EOI profile will remain active for six months from the date of submission. PEI – EOI is not a PNP application, but an indication of your interest in being considered to apply to the PEI PNP Express Entry Category
Once your profile is in the PEI -EOI pool, you will be ranked by Prince Edwards Island; based on the PEI points system, the highest-ranking candidate will be invited to apply for PEI – PNP. Prince Edward Island PNP invitation is valid for 60 days.
Post receiving ITA; you have 60 days to submit your application forms and all documents as applicable along with PEI -PNP Application fee of CAD 300. Please note PEI – PNP application fee is not refundable
If PEI – Authority found any discrepancy or any ground to believe that you have provided fake documents, your application will be denied, and you will be notified in writing.
If your application is considered positive, you would get a PEI PNP nomination confirmation letter; now, you can apply for the PR visa with CIC Canada.
Once you get the PEI PNP nomination letter, you can claim 600 additional CRS scores in the express entry pool to apply for your PR visa by paying the PR visa fee with CIC.
Please note It is the applicant’s sole responsibility to land in Prince Edward Island within 30 days from the date of Approval of your PR visa. You need to report in person to 94 Euston Street, 2nd floor, or email immigratepei@gov.pe.ca to schedule an appointment.
