This visa is for you if you're a New Zealand citizen or resident living in New Zealand and you want to bring your dependent children (Up to 24 years) to New Zealand to live with you. If your children are granted residence, they can live, study and work in New Zealand indefinitely.

How long can I stay on this visa : Indefinitely, Your children can travel in and out of New Zealand until their travel conditions expire.
With this visa you can :
Bring your dependent children to New Zealand to live with you. If they're old enough they can study or work here too. After this visa you may wish to apply for a permanent resident visa for your children.
Sometimes visas are subject to extra conditions under section 49(1) of theImmigration Act 2009. We call these section 49 conditions. For example, if you're granted residence under the Skilled Migrant Category a section 49 condition could be that you take up an offer of skilled employment within 3 months of arriving in New Zealand.
