IRCC releases Express Entry 2016 Annual Report, shows more outside Canada candidates got ITAs

The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has revealed the annual report of the candidates who have been issued Invitation to Apply (ITA) in 2016. The report shows more candidates outside from Canada have been issued ITAs in 2016 as compared to ITAs in 2015.

However, IRCC has also stated that the number of candidates will increase in 2017 because there is a consistence fall in Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS). Canada has been a preferable country for immigrants around the world. Specially, reports show the maximum number of immigrants are Indians.

Indeed, over the opening four months or so of 2017 there has been a dramatic increase in the number of ITAs issued, with more candidates having been invited so far this year than in the entirety of 2016. Over this time, the CRS cut-off threshold has decreased accordingly, to its most recent cut-off point of 415.
