Express Entry Draw takes place, CRS Cut-off threshold of 423

On May 4, 2017 the Express Entry draw took place in which a total of 3,796 candidates have been issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Which means these candidates are now able to apply for permanent residency status in Canada.

The candidates who score 423 or above in the Express Entry pool on Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS). However, the minimum CRS score required is slightly higher than previous draw which was just 415.

In 2017, total 11 draws has taken place and 39,769 candidates have been issued ITAs so far.

Express Entry is an electronic method used to select and nominate potential candidates. Profile of all candidates put in a pool of candidates from where high scored candidates are selected and issued Invitation to Apply for Canada PR. Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) is used to score candidates based on their age, qualification, work experience, language proficiency, adaptability etc.
