In the latest Alberta Express Entry draw held on July 27, 2021, a total of 148 Notifications of Interest (NOI) were issued to the candidates with intent to migrate into the land of Alberta.

The CRS score of the lowest ranked candidate for the NOI was determined to be 300. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a point based system which evaluates the profiles of the applicants on the basis of certain factors such as age, educational qualification, work experience, language adaptability, partner’s qualification etc. The CRS score generates a rank on the basis of the merit. The ranks that are high are picked up from the Express Entry pool to invite them to apply for the permanent residency in Canada on the IRCC.

The Alberta PNP is one of the best Canadian PNPs to migrate into the land of the wild rose country. The Alberta Express Entry is synchronised with the Canada Express Entry mechanism therefore regularly foraging for the capable candidates from the federal Express Entry pool with high ranks. One fact which must be pondered is that only the competitive profiles are selected from the federal Express Entry pool.

Post accepting the NOI, an invited candidate must comply with the documents requirements and later after successfully completing the proper documentation process, the candidates are nominated by the province of Alberta to apply for the permanent residency in Canada on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The Alberta Express Entry provides an additional score of 600 to the invited candidates to boost up their scores eventually making them eligible to apply for the permanent residency in Canada on the IRCC.
