Immigration South Australia has received large number of applications since the program opened in July 2019. The Department of Home Affairs has notified that 10 September 2019 is the last day for states and territories to accept applications under visa subclass 489 skillselect. This will allow applicants 60 days to lodge their Skilled Regional Provisional Visa 489 to the DoHA before the visa closes on 15 November 2019.
A new Skilled Worker Regional (Provisional) 491 visa will be introduced on 16 November 2019.
Thus, due to high number of applications, Immigration SA will not accept state applications for the subclass 489 visa at 11 AM on 14 August 2019. This means that all applications that have been saved but not submitted including the applications which have been submitted but not paid will be deleted at 11 AM on this date.
Therefore, candidates who are planning to apply for South Australia State Nomination Program must submit their profile before tomorrow to become eligible for applying permanent residency.
The candidates applying for visa 190 through South Australia Nomination Program will continue to process and submit the application once the subclass 489 applications are finalized. This will most likely to happen after 10 September 2019.
South Australia State Nomination Program allows skilled and qualified workers to come and settle in the state for indefinite period of time. There are lots of opportunities for the qualified migrants in the state.
