Some Occupations will soon be added and removed from Australian Skilled Migration Occupations list

The Australian Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business is now going to remove some of occupations that are listed under the Australia Skilled Migration occupational lists in coming March 2020. The removed occupations are listed in the following points:


  • Vehicle Trimmer.
  • Hairdresser.
  • Careers Counselor.
  • Business Machine Mechanic.
  • Gardener (General).
  • Animal Attendants and Trainers.
  • Wood Machinist.
  • Community Worker.
  • Gymnastics Coach or Instructor.
  • Diving Instructor (open water).
  • Massage therapist.

Is your occupation listed in Updated SOL list Australia?

While at the same time, the occupations that are listed below will be added on the Australian Skill list in place of above mentioned occupations:

  • Aged or Disable Carer.
  • Personal Care Assistant.
  • Corporate Treasurer.
  • Nursing support Worker.

When these changes will be made, same time, the Salary caveats of $65,000 will be given considered for the following listed occupations:

  • Baker.
  • Horse Trainer.
  • Poultry Farmer.
  • Pastry cook.
  • Fitter and turner.

Apart from this, for the Sportsperson category of skilled migrants, salary caveat of $120,000 will be also being considered.
