The latest Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Programs was conducted on 22nd May 2019 inviting 325 applicants to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through a provincial nomination. The current SINP EOI draw invited applicants for Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry categories. The applicants with 82 EOI immigration points for both OID and Express Entry streams were invited to apply.
The invited candidates under Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry Stream had Educational Credential Assessments done. As opposed to the previous SINP May 1 draw where the specific occupations were targeted for a provincial nomination, this current EOI draw saw all the applicants who had 82 immigration points in the EOI pool.
This current draw saw the highest SINP EOI score of 82 points ever since August 2018 for SINP draws.
Out of 325 applicants, 221 candidates received EOI under Occupation In-Demand Category and other 104 candidates received EOI under Express Entry category.
In order to apply for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) through Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-category, the applicants are first required to create and submit an Expression of Interest profile to the SINP. A point-based immigration system is followed under EOI where the applicants are ranked on the following factors like education level, work experience, language ability and family, work or study connections to Saskatchewan. A minimum of 60 immigration points out of 100 is required to become eligible for SINP.
Express Entry applicant who receives successful provincial nomination receives an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that further boosts the immigration chances to apply for Canada PR.
