Saskatchewan PR Rules and Policies 2019

Saskatchewan PR Rules and Policies 2019

Saskatchewan is a province of immense popularity in Canada, especially among Indian migrants. A low and reasonable passing criteria might be the probable reason for this. In a recent announcement by Minister of Immigration, Ahmed Hussen, Canada is all set to welcome 1 million skilled and qualified foreign immigrants in Canada through both its federal as well as provincial routes of immigration.

The latest immigration update has been released for three years in order to strengthen the Canadian economic growth. The three year immigration plan 2019-21 targets immigration intake under Canada’s most important PR programs like Federal Skilled Worker Program, Family Program that includes spouse, parents and children and grandparents etc.

The latest immigration news regarding 2019 intake is the allotment of 81,400 Federal Skilled Worker invitations in which the minimum invitations accepted will be 76,000 and maximum will be 86,000.

For the provincial nomination programs, Saskatchewan being one of the provinces, the latest update says that for 2019, the allotment has been fixed at 61,000 with minimum invitations fixed at 57,000 and maximum being 68,000.

However, the immigration intake level for the year 2020 has been decided at 85,800 with lower limit at 81,000 and upper limit at 88,000. The provincial Nomination Program intake is fixed at 67,800 with minimum intake of 62,000 migrants and maximum being 71,000.

The new immigration update for year 2021 for the Federal Skilled Worker Program is decided at 88,000 giving at least minimum invitations to 84,000 applicants and maximum being at 91,000. However, the Provincial Nomination Program for the same year has been fixed at 71,300. The minimum invitations are fixed at 67,000 and maximum at 74,000.

To apply for Saskatchewan’s Provincial Nominee Program, first you need to understand Saskatchewan Immigration PR Rules 2019 as well as SINP Requirements associated with this popular program. Highly Demand Jobs List in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan’s PNP Rules and Regulations For 2019:

Saskatchewan’s rules and policies are easy to comply with, be it any stream under the program. Currently, two popular streams offered by Saskatchewan are:

a)      Saskatchewan’s Express Entry Stream

b)     Occupation in demand list

For both the streams, candidate must be having his/her Express Entry profile first.

The Express Entry profile is going to take into account, the following credentials:

a)      Age

b)     Educational levels

c)      Work experience/ History of work

d)     IELTS score

These factors are actually the deciding factors of your fate, whether or not you can migrate to Saskatchewan.

Based on these credentials, you will be given point score as per Saskatchewan’s point assessment grid. The minimum required score is 60 points out of 100. Note that this is the minimum benchmark required for Saskatchewan to notice your profile. In order to get secure nomination/selection by the province, try to maximise this score as much as you can.

The latest SINP news is the change in the immigration pathway from ‘first come first serve’ to Expression of Interest System. The EOI draws are conducted on regular basis to invite skilled migrants in large numbers. With the EOI system, many migrants are invited in the draw as opposed to first come first serve where the quota used to get close in short span of time.
