The Australian Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business has recently updated its skilled migration Occupational Lists under the Traffic light Bulletin for immigration to Australia.
These changes in Australia immigration will be applied from March 2020.
Thus, the Red, Orange and Green Occupations are some of changes that will be further introduced.
The Red occupations under the skilled occupational list for Australia Immigration if completely flagged for removal from the skilled occupation lists. Occupations like Vehicle trimmer, Careers Counselor, Gardener, Hairdresser, Massage therapist, Business machine Mechanic, Animal Attendants and Trainers, Wood machinist, Community worker, Diving Instructor and Gymnastics Coach or Instructor comes under the red occupations list.
These occupations are previously famous among those immigrants who want to move to Australia.
The Orange occupations for Australia immigration are those that are flagged for movement between the lists or the occupations moved from one to another. Under the orange occupations, there are listed three kinds of occupations, namely, Medium and long term strategic skill list (MLTSSL), Short term skill occupational list (STSOL) and Regional occupational list (ROL).
The occupations like mechanical engineering Draftsperson and Real Estate Representative are moved from ROL to STSOL. Along with this, Sales and Marketing, ICT Project Manager and Information and Organization Professionals are moved from the STSOL to MLTSSL. Further, this will help the applicants to apply for the Subclass 190 visa.
The Green occupations are the one that are flagged for addition to the skilled occupational list of Australia immigration. Occupations like Corporate treasure, Aged or Disabled carer, Nursing Support Worker and Personal Care assistant are falling under the green occupation list of Australia. These occupations may be added in STSOL (short term skill occupational list). Although, the necessary skill assessment will be done for these kinds of occupations.

The Australian Department has also recognized more new occupations that are not currently listed on the ANSZCO. As per the Australian Bureau of Statistics, they have stated to fit some of occupations under the definitions like Data Scientist under Info & Org. Professional nec (224999), Block chain strategist under ICT Business Analyst (261111), Biosecurity Officer under Quarantine Officer (311313), Irrigation Manager under fruit or nut grower (121212) and so on.
