New nomination criteria proposed for South Australia’s Significant Investor (SIV) Program

With the motive of moulding South Australia as an attractive destination to live and invest, Australia’s Significant Investor Program (SIV) program proposed new immigration nomination requirements. The program is now accepting nomination for sub-class 188 for candidates who are complying with the below mentioned requirements:

  • Ability and will to invest at least A$5 million in areas as defined by Austrade investment framework.
  • Showcasing that the above mentioned investment amount is materially benefitting the economy of South Australia.
  • The applicant must be keen to live and invest in South Australia.

Apart from the aforesaid criteria, the applicant must also meet other eligibility requirements as demanded by DIBP under general immigration guidelines.
