The province of New Brunswick has reopened its new Express Entry labour market stream that was temporary closed since September 2018. It is now accepting Expressions of Interests to its Express Entry linked immigration stream.
The stream allows New Brunswick to nominate the eligible candidates in the federal Express Entry system for Canadian Permanent Residence.
The applicants who receives New Brunswick provincial nomination gets an additional 600 points towards their Express Entry score that eventually increases the chances of applying for Canadian Permanent Residence.
To apply for New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP), an applicant must meet the eligibility requirements in order to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
It includes the applicants must be in the Express Entry pool with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, if living and working in New Brunswick, a letter of employment from the employer, occupation must have NOC level 0, A or B, a language test score equivalent to CLB 7 and a positive Educational Credential Assessment Report.
The candidates will only be eligible to submit EOI if they meet above mentioned requirements. Expression of Interest is not an application but rather a declaration of one’s desire to live and work in New Brunswick.

A minimum of 67 points out of 100 on NBPNP point assessment grid is required to enter in the EOI pool.
