The latest Express Entry draw was conducted on October 29, 2018 where 3,900 invitations were given to the Express Entry applicants to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in this latest draw was 442.
This is the fourth time when the number of invitations at 3,900 remains constant since September 5, 2018, making it the largest draw size of 2018.
The minimum score in the October 29 draw was two score less than the current draw score of CRS 442. In the current draw, IRCC issued tie-break rule in which the date and time used was October 16, 2018 at 06:09:04 UTC. This means that all candidates with a CRS score of 442 who have submitted their profile within the said date and time were invited to apply in the latest invitation round by the Canadian government.
The latest invitation round brings the number of ITAs issued this year to 74,200 as compared to 74,978 ITAs issued in the previous year.
Under Canada’s Multi-Year levels Immigration plan, the IRCC admission target for 2017 was 71,700 new permanent residents and the department has established a target of 74, 900 for 2018 and for 2019 it is 81,400.
