The applicant who meets the minimum requirements for one of the express entry program and have registered with job bank automatically entered the Express Entry pool. Inside the pool, the applicants are eligible to be issued an ITA (Invitation to Apply) by scoring highest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
The ITA is an auto-generated correspondence issued to Express Entry candidates through their online account. The applicant with the highest CRS score is invited to apply through regular invitation rounds.
The candidates that manage to get a provincial or territorial nomination certificate are awarded an additional 600 CRS points that boosts their profile score and are normally invited to apply at the next round of invitations.
