Fall in CRS cut off for Express Entry in the 12th July Draw 440 CRS for 3202 nominated candidates

In the draw for Express Entry on July 12th 2017 decreased its cut-off and nominated 3,202 candidates with the minimum CRS of 440. 

The cut-off has fallen by 9 points since the last draw which held last month on 28th of June 2017.

According to CIC, the candidates with French language ability and a family sponsor in Canada are given a boost in points are ranked higher in the Express Entry Pool.

The draw of 12th July was the 17th Express entry draw and was second in line after the changes by CIC were made in the terms of language ability and family sponsorship.

Salient features of the Federal Express Entry draw of 12th July:

  • 17th draw of Express Entry selected 3,202 candidates for nomination
  • The minimum CRS score requirement in the draw on 12th July is 440 points

The candidates nominated in this draw will receive the Invitation to Apply for Canadian Permanent Resident card from The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

What to do to get a Canada PR through Express Entry?

The candidates who did not apply earlier and can score points up to 440 CRS can apply in Express Entry for Canada PR now. The candidates who could not make it in this cut-off can file their application through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
