The Danish Parliament on 20th December, has accepted the proposal to carry on the Start-up Denmark scheme for the sake of the talented entrepreneurs from countries outside the EU/EEA, who can also apply for work and residence permits in Denmark in future. The arrangement was formerly a 3 year pilot program.
Certain Minor modifications have also been undertaken. The yearly quota of number of total residence permits has been improved from 50 to 75. Also, teams of up to 3 persons can now apply with mention of a given business idea. The changes will be in effect from 1st January 2018.
