The Australia Subclass 491 visa is now open from 11th December 2019 for the Small Business Owners (SBO) category. This move can be used to award Small business owners (SBO) in the regional areas or territory of Queensland to invest in the local business community along with to provide skilled employment opportunities to local residents of Queensland.
For further eligibility to apply for 491 SBO, aspirants can check through 491 SBO Assessment Form, 491-SBO fact sheet, 491 Small business owners Pathway FAQs. After reviewing the required eligibility to apply for Queensland, interested candidates must make sure to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect. Applicants are required to ensure the following criteria before submitting an EOI:
Along with these, candidates have to check that whether their occupation is mentioned under the Queensland Skilled Occupational list or not before going to submit an EOI. Updated EOIs will not be accepted. Candidates have to submit a Brand new EOI. Those EOIs which has been submitted prior to 25th November 2019, they will not be considered.
Additionally, a 491 SBO assessment form will be required to submit separately to pick up of your EOI. Due to high interest in the SBO program, answered over the phone call will not be entertained.
Also, for the Skilled Nominated Permanent Subclass 190 visa, the Queensland state Nomination program is closed from 26th November 2019 at 1:30 pm (AEST).
