NSW commenced its new immigration program for the financial year 2018-19. The state announced its fresh priority skilled occupations list. It has been mentioned earlier that cook, hotel and motel managers have been removed from the list this time. However, there have been additions in the fresh list:
The priority skilled list for Skilled Nominated Visa 190 will continue throughout the year and the applicants would be invited with the top-ranked score in occupations mentioned on 190 priority skilled occupation list. There would be no particular dates for the invitation round to take place.
The 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List of NSW contains the priority occupations. New South Wales invites applicants under these occupations to apply for Australia State Sponsored Visa Subclass 190.
The occupations listed on 190 priority list are decided on the basis of State Employment and Commonwealth Data. The occupations on the list are selected in a manner to cater to the skill requirements of the economy of NSW. However, the list will be modified regularly on the basis of skill requirement. There are also limited places under 190 programs that are aligned with the NSW skill needs.
The applicants with the highest immigration point score will be given priority under its 190 PSOL.
