The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has finally released the new skill migration draw list inviting 2500 applicants to apply for Australian Permanent Residency. The ITAs has been constant for this draw as well. The scheduled draw date was 11th September 2018. However, the result got delayed and published on 4th October, 2018.
The department invited 2490 candidates to apply for Australia PR through Independent Subclass 189 and 10 candidates were issued ITAs for Skilled Regional Provisional Visa 489.
This year, it has been seen that more number of draws are given to candidates applying for skilled migration visa programs. We can also speculate that more number of ITAs is expected to be given with comparatively less immigration point score.
The department issues invitation through tie-break up rule, for subclass 189, the tie-break up date and time was 21st June 2018 and 5:55 pm. This means that candidates having 70 points applying before this date and time are given invitation in this current draw.
The Subclass 489 visa tie-break date and time was 10th July, 18 and 11:22 am. The applicants with 80 points that have applied before the stipulated date and time are invited to apply for Australia PR.
