Australia Issued 110 Invitations in the latest round of Invitations Held on October 21, 2020

The Australian Government conducted its latest round of invitations on October 21, 2020 and issued 110 invitations to the candidates who submitted their applications under Skilled Independent Visa Sub class 189 and skilled work regional (provisional) visa subclass 491 – Family sponsored stream. 390 less invitations were issued in the latest round of invitations held on October 21, 2020 than the previous one that was held on September 11, 2020.

Out of the total 110 invitations, 30 were issued to the candidates who submitted their application for the skilled independent visa subclass 189 and the remaining 80 were issued to the candidates who submitted their application under the family sponsored stream of skilled work regional (provisional) visa subclass 491.

The minimum score for both the categories was 65; however, having 65 points doesn’t guarantee that you will get an invitation to apply from the DHA (Department of Home Affairs). That’s the reason; always try to score higher points as higher the points. The higher the scores, the higher are the chances to grab an invitation from the DHA.

The DHA has released a list of certain occupations, the arrangements for which are done on a pro-rata basis. So, it’s important to have a look at all of them so that you don’t miss out on anything important.
