Global Talent Scheme is a success in Australia
The Immigration Minister of Australia, David Coleman published a media release announcing the success of Global Talent Scheme now renamed as The Global Talent- Employer Sponsored Program (GTES). It will become a permanent feature of the Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage) Visa program.
The GTES was launched as a 12 month pilot program on 1 July 2018 and is continued to invite applications for the year 2019. The Australian Government had introduced GTES as a pilot scheme to invite highly skilled migrant to fill Australian job market positions that cannot be filled locally.
GTES is classified into two streams namely:
Under GTES Program, 18 businesses are listed out of which 5 of the businesses come under the start-up stream.
