314 Early Educators and Assistants Invited Under Nova Scotia Express Entry Stream

The Government of Nova Scotia has issued 314 letters of interest to apply for a provincial nomination to early educators and assistants in its Labour Market Priorities Stream. The applicants, who have received Letter of Interest to apply for a provincial nomination to express entry applicants, must meet the eligibility and work experience requirements of its new labour market stream.

The selected applicants need to provide following requirements as well:

  • Company Letter Head
  • Signature by the responsible human resources officer, supervisor, or manager
  • Company full address, telephone number, e-mail and website addresses and be stamped with the company’s official seal (if applicable)
  • Include the following information in one document:
  1. Specific period of the employment with the company
  2. The positions held during the period of employment and time spent in each position
  3. The main responsibilities and duties in each position
  4. Annual salary plus benefits
  5. The number of working hours

The applicants have a 30 days period to submit a complete application for Nova Scotia Provincial Nomination. An additional 600 CRS will be awarded to applicants whose applications are approved by the NSOI.

The applicants invited through this stream must provide a work experience of at least 2 years in NOC 4214- Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under the Government’s of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2018.

The NSOI says that occupations specified in each draw will depend upon labour market needs and the priorities of the province. The minister of Immigration (Nova Scotia) Lena Diab says this new stream is the ‘first of its kind in Canada’ and is an innovative and flexible new tool to address Nova Scotia’s labour market needs.
