What is a Green Card Scheme ?

A residence permit under the Green Card Scheme comes with the right to engage yourself in any paid or unpaid work. However, the Ministry of Integration, Denmark states that such a residence permit does not give you the right to work as a self-employed person i.e., run your own business unit.

The Green Card scheme is a point based system of immigration program. In order to be granted a residence permit under the green card scheme, you must attain a minimum of 100 points. The factors on which you get points are:

  1. Educational level,
  2. Language skills,
  3. Work experience,
  4. Adaptability, and
  5. Age.

These are the general guidelines and procedure for Denmark Immigration. To get a detailed view in this regard, we suggest you to contact our panel of experts and avail a FREE first consultation over phone.
