On July 8, 2020, the latest Express Entry Draw was held, and issued 3900 ITA’s (Invitation to Apply) to the candidates, that is the largest one since the corona outbreak since March 4. The candidates who’ve applied under the FSWP (Federal Skilled Worker’s Program) and FSTP (Federal Skilled Trades Program) were given invitation for the Canada’s Permanent Residence in the latest Express Entry Draw.
The candidate who were invited has the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of at least 478. Since the outbreak of Corona, the government introduced some travel restrictions to curb the spread if the virus. In this case, the Express Entry Draws were only limited to only Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP’s) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). This has left the other two streams such as the FSWP and FSTP postponed.
But, now in the latest Express Entry Draw that was held on July 8th, 2020, 3900 ITA’s were issued to the FSWP and FSTP candidates. Good News! Isn’t it? The total number of ITA’s issued this year had broken the record, inviting 53,800 candidates despite the pandemic.
Today’s CRS score was 478 that was seven points higher than the previous Express Entry draw that was held on March 4, 2020, that has a CRS score of 471.
There was a tie-breaking rule which says that the candidates who applied under the Express Entry Program prior to February 11, 2020 at 03:17:13 UTC and had a CRS score above 478 were invited under the latest Express Entry Draw.
