SINP’S Expression Of Interest (EOI) Draw Dates Out!

Saskatchewan new Expression of Interest system took effect July 16, will hold draws in September, November
The Government of Saskatchewan has released its draw dates for the new Expression of Interest system to migrate the potential applicants. The next scheduled dates are September 19 and November 21, 2018.
The province introduced new Expression of Interest System on July 16 to manage candidate profiles for the popular Express Entry and Occupations In- Demand sub categories of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
The applicants who are interested to migrate to Saskatchewan under any of these streams are required to register in the SINP’s online application system OASIS and complete an EOI profile. SINP Latest EOI Draw
The applicants who apply and receive a provincial nomination certificate from the province are entitled to receive 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
The EOI pool candidates who are invited to apply for a provincial nomination under the Occupations In-Demand sub-category will have their applications processed outside the federal Express Entry System.
Saskatchewan EOI Working Explained:
The eligible applicants applying for immigration to Saskatchewan through Express Entry or OID stream must submit an EOI profile.
The applicants are required to mention their credentials like age, work experience, education and language requirements among other factors.
The applicants are accessed according to Saskatchewan’s unique assessment grid. The minimum required score to be eligible for SINP is 60 points.
SINP’s EOI Ranking System Explained:
The SINP will follow the following steps to rank applicants in the EOI pool:
- The applicants with the highest EOI point score will be identified
- If an applicant has same EOI points then in such a case, the applicant having a connection in SINP will be preferred. Here, the connection means a close relative or family member in Saskatchewan, past work experience or past study experience in Saskatchewan
- The applicants will then be prioritize on the basis of work experience and high language scores obtained
The applicants issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for provincial nomination will have 60 days to submit a complete online application to the SINP.
