The province of Saskatchewan has conducted the first express entry and occupation in-demand draw for the year 2019. A total of 596 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were issued for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program on 16th January, 2019.
Out of which, 362 invitations went to Candidates in the Saskatchewan Immigration (SINP)’s Express Entry sub-category having work experience in a high-skilled occupation listed on Saskatchewan’s In-demand occupations list. The applicants with the EOI score of 63 and above were invited in this current draw.
Additionally, Saskatchewan also issued 234 invitations through Occupation In-Demand stream. This stream is not linked to the Federal Express Entry System. The migrants having EOI score of 66 and above were invited to apply in this draw category.
The selection process for both the Express Entry and In-demand occupation operates on an Expression of Interest (EOI) basis. The selected candidates receive additional 600 points towards overall immigration point score. check our which Canada PNP is open in 2020
If you are applying for SINP, an applicant must score at least 60 points out of 100 on Saskatchewan point assessment grid. The points are calculated for age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability and adaptability factors.
