The province of Saskatchewan conducted two draws through the Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand held 15 August 2019 issuing a total of 150 invitations. Out of total invitations issued in this draw, 45 EOIs were given through Express Entry and 105 EOIs were given through Occupations In-Demand. The candidates with 78 immigration points and above were invited for SINP Express Entry and Occupation In-demand categories. Saskatchewan Express Entry is linked to the federal express entry system. This means candidates whose profiles are already in the express entry pool and who meet the Saskatchewan requirements are selected for provincial nomination.
The selected candidates with a provincial nomination receive additional 600 points towards their overall Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The 15 August draw saw candidates received EOI through the saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand stream. Though a job offer is not required for this sub-category, a key eligibility requirement for both the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories is to have experience in one of the 19 occupations listed on in-demand Saskatchewan.
The SINP has issued a total of 1,789 invitations through its Occupation In-Demand sub-category and 1,315 through its Express Entry sub-category so far in 2019.
