Posted On: Fri, Jan 08 2021

The province of Saskatchewan, on January 7, 2021 issued 385 Invitations to the candidates who submitted their applications under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). Isn’t it a good start of the New Year 2021? This draw was targeted towards inviting the individuals who applied under the two subcategories such as Occupation-in-demand and express entry categories of the International skilled worker category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

The invited candidates are required to have a verifiable work experience in the occupations listed in the SINP occupation in-demand list. Out of the total 385 candidates invited in the latest SINP draw, 148 invitations went to the candidates who applied under the express entry category of SINP and the remaining 237 went to the candidates who applied under the occupation-in-demand category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

To obtain an invitation from the province of Saskatchewan, the candidates are required to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles by taking the SINP pathway. The minimum score of the lowest-ranked candidate in both the categories is set at 71 which means that a candidate is required to score at least 71 or more in order to receive an invitation.

What is the Difference between Express entry and occupation in-demand category of SINP?

The express entry category of SINP is best suited for the individuals who have relevant profiles in the Federal express entry. This program works under three economic immigration programs such as the Federal skilled workers program, Federal skilled trades program and Canadian experience class. The candidates who receive an invitation under this subcategory will receive an additional of 600 points towards their CRS score that will further increase your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada’s permanent residence.

On the other hand, the occupation-in-demand subcategory doesn’t require you to have a valid profile in the Federal express entry. It is best suited for the candidates who have wealthy years of work experience in the occupations which are facing labour shortages in the province of Saskatchewan.

So, are you dreaming of settling in the province of Saskatchewan on a permanent basis? Well, apply under the category that best suits your requirements. Fill in the free online assessment form so that you can determine your eligibility for free. Good Luck!
