Saskatchewan Invites 83 Express Entry Skilled Workers In The Latest EOI Draw
Posted On: Fri, Dec 27 2019
The province of Saskatchewan has invited 83 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the latest draw conducted on February 27, 2019, for Canadian Permanent Residence. The applicants with the lowest ranked score of 68 and above were given an invitation in this current draw.
The selected applicants invited had an Expression of Interest (EOI) registered under Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker Express Entry sub-category that allows the province to nominate candidates in the federal Express Entry system for Canadian Permanent Residence.
In order to apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, Express Entry applicants must register a separate EOI with SINP.
An EOI profile requires information on education, work experience, proficiency in English or French and known connections to the province.
The selected candidates must have work experience in a high-skilled occupation listed on Saskatchewan’s In-Demand Occupations List among other eligibility criteria.
The Express Entry system manages the profiles of applicants under Canada's three main economic immigration categories- the Federal Skilled Worker Program, The Federal Skilled Trade Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
The applicants who successfully get a provincial nomination are entitled to receive 600 additional points towards the overall Express Entry ranking score. This will increase your chances of getting a direct invitation to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence.
To apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, an applicant must score at least 60 points out of 100 on the Saskatchewan Point Assessment Grid. The points are calculated for age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability, and adaptability factors.
For further information in this regard, it is suggested to fill the Canada Assessment form and wait for a callback from the visa and immigration experts of Aptech Global. One of the experts will soon contact you to discuss the Canada PR query.
