The province of Saskatchewan uses an Expression of Interest (EOI) system to select the candidates who have the highest potential to serve towards the economic growth and development of the province and moreover, to meet the gap that exists in the labour market of Saskatchewan. The EOI scores are given on the basis of several parameters such as age, work experience, language proficiency, educational qualification and many more.

Post that, the candidates with the highest scores are issued an invitation from the province of Saskatchewan to apply for provincial nomination from Saskatchewan. One more thing that the express entry candidates who received an invitation from the province will be awarded with 600 additional points towards their existing CRS scores which further enhances the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada’s permanent residence.
