PEI Draw Invites 150 Applicants In March 21 DrawPosted On: Fri, Mar 22 2019
This is to inform that a new invitation round was conducted by the province of Prince Edward Island on March 21 inviting applicants under the Express Entry, Labour Impact and Entrepreneur categories. A total of 150 invitations were issued to applicants in PEI’s Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact Immigration categories totaling the number of invitations through Prince Edward Island Nomination Program to 440.
Out of total invitations, 131 applicants received invitation to apply through Express Entry and Labour Impact Category in the current draw for nomination to Canadian Permanent Residence. However, the province did not provide a breakdown of these invitations.
PEI’s Express Entry category is linked to the federal Express Entry system that manages the pool of applicants under three of Canada’s main economic immigration categories- the Federal Skilled Worker Class, The Federal Skilled Trade Program and The Canadian Experience Class.
The other 19 entrepreneur candidates were invited through the Business Impact: Work Permit Stream category. The applicants with the lowest-ranked score of 110 and above were invited in this draw. The PEI’s Business Impact: Work Permit Stream is for eligible foreign entrepreneurs with business ownership or eligible management experience who want to invest in and run a business in PEI.
