The province of Ontario, on January 13, 2021, issued a total of 484 NOIs (Notification of Interest) to the candidates who applied under the Skilled Workers and French-speaking skilled workers stream of the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP). The two streams under which the province issued NOIs are aligned with the express entry stream and are therefore, known as the enhanced streams.

The candidates who created their express entry profiles between January 13, 2020 to January 13, 2021 were issued a Notification of Interest (NOI) in the latest Ontario PNP draw. Out of the total 484 candidates, 338 NOIs were issued to the candidates who applied under the skilled workers stream and the remaining 146 NOIs were issued to the candidates who applied under the French Speaking skilled worker stream. No NOIs were issued to the candidates who applied under Ontario’s human capital priorities stream.

It is quite obvious that the CRS score range of the skilled worker stream of OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) is comparatively lower than the CRS score range of French-speaking skilled worker stream. The skilled worker stream of the OINP is perfectly suited for the candidates who have a minimum of one year of work experience gained in Ontario in an occupation listed in the minor group 633 or major group 72, 73 or 82 of the National Occupational Classification list.

On the other hand, the French-speaking skilled worker stream is for the express entry candidates who are proficient in both English and French. A candidate must have a minimum of CLB 7 in the French language and CLB 6 in the English language, in order to receive an NOI from the province of Ontario.

Both the streams don’t require a valid job offer, however, the candidates are required to meet the other eligibility requirements in order to receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from the province of Ontario.

So, all the candidates who received a NOI from the province have 45 days time to submit a complete application to the province of Ontario.
