The Ontario province has invited 988 applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence to Express Entry candidates through its Skilled Trades and French Speaking Worker Streams. The January 24 draw for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 889 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) in its first draw of 2019 through its Skilled Trades Stream which is linked to the Federal Express Entry system.
The selected candidates who created their profiles between January 24, 2018 and January 24, 2019 were invited given NOI in this current draw.
The Skilled Trades Stream under Ontario PNP allows candidates currently living in Ontario with a minimum of one year full-time work experience, or the equivalents in part-time work, having skilled trade listed under Canada’s National Occupation Classification (NOC). Though, candidates do not require any job offer letter to apply under Skilled Trades and French Speaking Skilled Worker streams.
The applicants who successfully receive a provincial nomination under OINP programs receive an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points that further boosts ITAs chances for Canadian Permanent Residence through the Express Entry system. check here! which Canada PNP is Open in 2020 .
Ontario invites skilled workers under French Speaking Skilled Worker Streams
The province of Ontario conducted three separate invitation rounds this month under Ontario’s Express Entry-linked French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, with 28 NOIs issued in the latest round on January 24.
The previous rounds were held under the French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream on January 17 and 11 with 71 NOIs issued in total.
Up till now, the Ontario province has nearly issued 2,500 NOIs to Express Entry candidates under its three Express Entry linked provincial nomination streams by giving 1,493 invitations in Human Capital Priorities Stream on January 14.
