Ontario Issued 142 New NOIs Through Its Express Entry Stream

Posted On: Fri, Dec 27 2019

Ontario issued 142 fresh NOIs to candidates from the Express Entry pool through two draws conducted on 11th and 12th of April.  The streams under which the mentioned number of NOIs were issued are French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW) and Skilled Trades Streams.

These streams are having their own set of eligibility criteria. Those candidates who complies with these criteria receives NOI without having any minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) required.

Under category of FSSW stream, total of 55 candidates with active Express Entry Profile (from 1st January 2018 to 12th April 2018) were issued NOIs. Additional 87 NOIS were issued under Skilled Trades Stream to candidate with active EE profiles from 1st January to 11th of April, 2018.

All these 142 candidates are now eligible to claim additional CRS of 600 points, thereby increasing their chances of selection by multi-fold levels.

The NOI must not be confused with direct selection by CIC. It is an Invitation by the province of Ontario and not a selection proclamation.

After receiving NOI, candidate gets 45 calendar days to file online application with Ontario.
