OINP’s Masters Graduate Stream Faces Technical Error After Quota Opens
Posted On: Fri, Dec 27 2019
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program managed to register successfully 300 immigration candidates in its recent opening of Ontario’s Masters Graduate Stream before a technical error closure. In the update published on March 19, the OINP immigration officials said 333 people managed to get their registrations before the technical glitch.
The province of Ontario has set a target of 1,000 registrations for the March 5 opening and said it will reopen the stream as soon as possible after the system issues have been fully resolved.
The March 5 opening of the Masters Graduate Stream was it's first in nearly a year, the fact that led to widespread frustration among other users affected by the error.
The Ontario Immigration has different immigration streams and one of them is the Masters Graduate Stream that allows international graduates with a Masters degree taken from the eligible university in Ontario to apply for Canada PR. An applicant does not require any job offer letter to apply under this stream.
This program works on the first come first serve method and thus, the quota closes sooner than expected.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is the most popular pathway taken by the skilled migrants who are looking to settle in Ontario permanently. Check the different visa categories by filling the Canada Assessment form and one of the Aptech Global experts will contact you soon to discuss the Canada PR query.
