The province of Manitoba held its seventh Expression of Interest draw on March 28, 2019, inviting 595 applicants to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through Provincial Nominee Programs. The invitation rounds were conducted for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)'s Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and International Education Streams.
The total invitations through MPNP under these streams have reached invitation tally to 3,199. The selected applicants under March 28, 2019, had an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile registered with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The submission of EOI profile is the first step required in order to be considered for a nomination from Manitoba through Skilled Worker Overseas and Skilled Worker in Manitoba Streams and under International Education Stream.
An undisclosed number of applicants having a profile in the federal Express Entry system along with a group of 260 skilled workers overseas candidates received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in this current draw. The Express Entry applicants who received LAA were required to have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code and at least six months of recent work experience in an occupation listed on Manitoba's In-Demand Occupations List.
The selected applicants under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program through Express Entry are entitled to receive 600 provincial nomination points that will further enhance your overall immigration chances for Canada PR.

The applicants under Skilled Worker Overseas with lowest ranking EOI score of 563 were invited.
Additionally, another 29 skilled Worker Overseas candidates were issued LAAs through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative in this draw. The lowest-ranking applicant with EOI score of 719 and above was given LAAs.
Skilled Workers in Manitoba and International Education Stream LAAs
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted the EOI draw on 1st March 2019 issuing 262 invitations to skilled workers in Manitoba having EOI score of 433. The EOI score is lowest so far in 2019 for skilled workers in Manitoba stream.
The skilled worker in Manitoba stream is for eligible qualified temporary foreign workers and international graduates who are currently working in Manitoba.
Also, the other 44 invitations were given to International Education Streams. The education streams provide three pathways to permanent residence for eligible international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary institutions.
