On April 13, 2018 Manitoba released Expression of Interest draw under Expression of Interest System. For the workers who are skilled and are in Manitoba, the number of letters of advice to apply issued are 316 while the lowest ranking score invited to apply is 534.
On the other hand, 84 invites were directly given to the overseas skilled workers by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest ranking score invited to apply is with 703 points.
These invites are not given to the Skilled Worker Overseas candidates unless and until they were invited to apply by MPNP under Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The most possible reason of not receiving Letter of Advice to Apply provided your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate:
- You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to APPLY to the Manitoba PNP under a Strategic Initiative but you did not provide a valid invitation number
- You should mention detail list in your EOI. if you fail to update with the correct information, you may lose the chance of getting invitation to apply from the Canadian government
Additionally, those applicants are invited who had indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba. However, the MPNP may not accept or refuse applications from those applicants who are not actually working in a regulated occupation or fail to provide proof of having endured all the necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba.
