Manitoba Issues 403 Invitations To Express Entry CandidatesPosted On: Fri, Dec 27 2019
The province of Manitoba conducted a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on 11TH April 2019 under its Skilled Workers Overseas Stream. The Manitoba province issued 403 letters of advice to apply for provincial nomination. Out of 403 invitations, 352 applicants were invited in two groups including an unspecified number with a profile in the Federal Express Entry System.
The Express Entry system manages the pool of applicants under three main economic immigration categories- The Federal Skilled Worker Program, The Federal Skilled Trade Program, and The Canadian Experience Class. The successful applicants with a provincial nomination from Manitoba will obtain an additional 600 points towards their total Express Entry ranking score and will effectively guarantee an invitation to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence.
In the current 11th April Manitoba PNP draw, the Express Entry candidates with a valid Express Entry ID and job-seeker validation code, and at least six months of recent work experience in an occupation listed as in-demand by the MPNP were invited to apply. The applicants with the lowest rank of 561 and above were given letters of advice to apply in this current draw.
The other criteria that must be met are:
- A close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience
- At least six months of recent experience in an occupation listed on Manitoba In-demand Occupations List
- Minimum language proficiency in English or French of CLB/NCLC 5 unless the work experience is primarily in a regulated occupation
Additionally, other 51 invitations were given to the candidates under MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiatives with a lowest-ranking score of 695 and above.
