Manitoba Issued 438 Letters Of Expression Of Interest For Its 131st Draw.
The government of Manitoba issued 438 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to MPNP candidates in the new 131st Manitoba PNP draws held on December 2, 2021. Aside from that, 71 were given to those who said they had a legitimate Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. Skilled Workers in Manitoba, the International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas are the three Manitoba immigration categories.
A total of 358 LAAs were awarded under the MPNP's Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest-ranking candidate invited for a skilled worker received a score of 449. The Skilled Worker in Manitoba programme is open to foreign nationals who have prior work experience in Manitoba and are actively employed in the province. Candidates must have a highly competitive profile to be invited under this stream.
The number of letters of advice required to apply for the International Education Stream is 29, although the stream's minimal cut-off score has yet to be revealed.
The MPNP attracted 51 skilled workers from overseas directly under a targeted recruitment strategy, with the lowest ranking score of 726. The stream focuses on international and overseas foreign people with significant professional expertise and strong ties to Manitoba, such as a relative residing in the area or prior work experience, among other things.
The results of the recent Manitoba PNP draw, which took place on December 2, 2021, are summarized in the table below.

The Manitoba PNP is one of Canada's PNPs that is dependent on a strong relationship with the province. Candidates who were directly invited by the MPNP through a Strategic Recruitment initiative and who have a valid IRCC Express Entry profiles were considered for Expressions of Interest from Skilled Worker Overseas. They will also receive an additional 600 points to improve their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for permanent residency in Canada through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in order to become a Canada PR. Candidates sometimes protest that their score is greater than the lowest-ranked candidate's, but they haven't received an Application Letter.
This could be because you indicated that you took an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but did not provide a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid, OR you indicated that you received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number in your EOI or your invitation number is no longer valid.
It's your opportunity to apply for the Manitoba PNP and become a permanent resident this year.
