The new Expression of Interest draw conducted by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 515 new letters of advice to apply for provincial nomination on August 2017. In the latest draw, 410 applicants were issued LAAs under skilled workers in Manitoba stream with the lowest ranked candidate invited with score of 500.
The other 105 applicants were invited under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Skilled Worker Overseas Stream with a lowest ranking score of 642.
The applicants applying for Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program were invited directly through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The Strategic Recruitment Initiative consists of recruitment missions where provincial representatives hold interviews with skilled workers outside the country. The letters were issued to skilled workers who fulfill the eligibility requirements of the program.
The candidates who obtain LAA have 60 days to submit a complete application for a provincial nomination to the MPNP.
The skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas who received a LAA in the August 2017 draw and whose applications are already approved for provincial nomination can submit an application for Canadian Permanent Residence.
The 49th Draw results are as follows:
