The latest Manitoba invitation draws were conducted on 15th February 2019 to invite eligible skilled workers and international students under Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and International Education economic immigration streams. This was the third draw conducted by Manitoba for the year 2019 that invited 444 applicants.
The total number of invitations has now reached 1,526 for provincial nomination since the start of 2019.
The majority of Manitoba’s economic immigration streams operate on an Expression of Interest (EOI) basis. The primary step is to create an express entry profile and mention details like education, work experience, proficiency in English or French among other factors and are ranked according to the information provided in the EOI pool. The highest ranking officials are then issued to Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for a provincial nomination. The February 15th draw saw a total of 268 invitations under Skilled Workers Overseas streams to the applicants with the lowest ranked candidates having scores of 570 and above.
The selected applicants whose profiles were processed under Express Entry are awarded an additional 600 points towards their Express Entry ranking score that further boosts the invitation chances to apply for Canada Permanent Resident Visa.
Therefore, in order to be considered for a provincial nomination from Manitoba, Express Entry Candidates must register a separate Expression of Interest with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
The province of Manitoba also issued 120 invitations to skilled workers in Manitoba candidates with the lowest score of 574 and above and other 34 invitations were given to the applicants in an International Education Stream.
The skilled worker in Manitoba Stream is for eligible qualified temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who are currently working in Manitoba and have been offered a permanent job with their Manitoba employer.
Canada offers various immigration programs for the applicants willing to settle on a permanent basis. Fill the Canada Assessment form and one of the visa and immigration experts will contact you soon to discuss the Canada PR query.
