Express Entry Draw Invites 5,500 on declined 490 CRS Score
After conducting the first draw of the year 2023. Express Entry held the draw just in 8 days. In this conducted draw 5,500 Invitations are issued to the applicants with minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 490 from Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Candidates from Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) , Canadian Experience Class(CEC) , Federal Skilled Trades (FST) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were eligible for this round of invitations with the requirements.
As per the last draw now IRCC has decreased the score from 17 points and number of ITAs given is 5,500 same as last one.
IRCC ranks candidates in the pool using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The highest-ranking Candidates are selected from the pool and invited them to apply for permanent residence (PR).

Each invitation round has a set of instructions that are:
- posted online at the time of the invitation round
- used by the Express Entry system to invite candidates from the pool
The instructions include:
- the date and time of the invitation round
- the number of candidates that will get an invitation to apply
- which immigration program(s) are included in the round (some invitation rounds may only invite candidates for 1 program, for example only from Federal Skilled Trades)
- Check your score and then use this information to see how likely you are to get an invitation in the next round.
