A point higher CRS cut-off for Express Entry in August 2nd Draw – inviting 3,264 candidates for Canada PR immigration The draw for Express Entry on August 2nd 2017 made a point-higher addition in its cut-off by inviting 3,264 candidates with the minimum CRS score of 441 for immigration to Canada with a permanent resident visa.
The cut-off is just one point higher than the last cut-off that was declared on 12th of July, however the number of candidates invited in the draw has increased with the cut-off too.
IRCC will give a boost in points for the family sponsorship and French proficient candidates as stated by the Canadian authority for the year of 2017. Such candidates will be ranked higher in the Express Entry pool.
The draw of 2nd August was the 18th Express entry draw. The gap between this draw and the last draw is noted to be longer than usual.

What to do to get a Canada PR through Express Entry?
The candidates who did not apply earlier and can score points up to 441 CRS can apply in Express Entry for Canada PR now. The candidates who could not make it in this cut-off can file their application through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to make themselves eligible for the permanent residency to Canada.
