As a mandate fulfilment of the Minister of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship, the Canadiangovernment has initiated a change in the definition of ‘age’ of dependents from ‘under 19’ to ‘under 22’. The change is going to solve a great deal of ordeal for immigrants who want to stay in Canada with their families.
The change is applicable to those applications only which IRCC received on or after 24th October, 2017.
Keeping in mind the beneficial aspect of one’s professional life if he/she is having a satisfactory family life, IRCC also announced a public policy. Under the public policy, the candidate’s having their applications under process from and beyond 3rd of May 2017, can get addition or sponsorship of their children.
