On February 13, 2021, IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) held its latest express entry draw and issued a total of 27,332 Invitations to the candidates who applied under the Canadian express entry category of Canada Express Entry. This unmatched express entry round of invitations requires the candidates to have a CRS score of 75. These CRS scores are evaluated on the basis of certain factors such as human/core capital factors, spouse-related factors and certain additional factors such as French language proficiency etc.
Today’s draw issued almost six times larger invitations than the previous express entry draw under which 5,000 invitations were issued. Also, three days back i.e. on February 10, 2021, IRCC issued invitations to 654 candidates who applied under the Canada PNP programs. This makes the total number of invitations to 27,986.
A tie-breaking rule was applied in the latest express entry draw meaning that the candidates who had a CRS score of 75 or higher must have submitted their profiles prior to September 12, 2020 at 15:31:40 UTC. Canada express entry is an ideal immigration pathway as per which IRCC invites a lot of immigration candidates who want to reside and work in Canada on a permanent basis. After all, express entry is the main source of immigrants who will help the Canadian economy back on its track.
IRCC holds these draws after every two weeks, inviting express entry candidates to apply for Canada’s permanent residence. As of now, the maple country has not conducted its all-program express entry draw which includes inviting candidates under the three economic immigration streams such as Federal skilled workers program, Federal skilled trades program and Canadian experience class.
