On October 14, 2020, IRCC conducted its latest Express Entry Draw inviting 4,500 candidates to apply for Canada’s Permanent Residence. The candidates having a CRS score of 471 or more were sent an invitation to apply for Canada’s permanent residence. The number of invitations issued in the latest EE draw held on October 14, 2020 is 300 more than the previous draw held on September 30, 2020.
Since the Corona outbreak, it is the largest Express Entry draw held by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Express Entry is the fastest and the easiest program, under which there exists 3 economic immigration streams such as Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. In order to apply under any of the categories a candidate needs to score at least 67 points, which are evaluated on the basis of age, level of education, work experience and many more.
A tie-breaking rule has been applied under the latest Canada Express Entry draw stating that candidates who had a CRS score of 471 or more must have submitted their Express Entry profile prior to September 1, 2020 at 12:11:23 UTC in order to receive an invitation. As far as this year is concerned, it has been found that the CRS scores were typically above 470 for all the program draws.
